Boxley employees from the block division in Lynchburg set out to complete their United Way’s Day of Caring at ARC of Central Virginia. Since 1962 they have been committed to improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families.
Our volunteers were honored to fill their roles by replacing necessary ceiling tiles throughout the building. Providing new life so ARC can continue to create and encourage opportunities for growth and development.
Boxley is a significant supporter of United Way. Since 2000, Boxley employees, with matching funds from the company, have donated nearly $1.7 million to United Way. This year, Team 360 chose to supplement the company’s financial support with volunteer support, encouraging employees to participate with United Way’s Day of Caring in each of the communities Boxley serves.
The Lynchburg block project is one of many Day of Caring projects made possible through the Boxley 360 Corporate Responsibility program.
