His last name might be Boxley, but there were no shortcuts for Ab to the company’s top job.  He started as a laborer in 1975 and earned his way up as management trainee at Trego Stone. After completing his MBA, he worked in various sales and production positions, including superintendent at the Lawyers Road quarry. Upon the death of his father in 1988, Ab was named president at age 30 becoming the fourth generation to lead the company.

Tom’s financial expertise and innovative thinking help navigate Boxley on its strong financial course. He is responsible for financial planning, accounting and information technology. Prior to joining Boxley in 1996, Tom's work experience included banking, property and casualty insurance, software development and finance.

A born leader, Jeff uses his military background, disciplined approach to work and strong management skills to keep all aspects of Boxley’s operations humming. Jeff was sales manager at Solite and Tarmac before joining Boxley in 2001. He served as Vice President-Aggregates prior to becoming COO in 2011.

Boxley employees are the company’s most important asset and Lori brings her strong leadership skills and extensive human resources experience to bear for Boxley team members. She is responsible for all facets of the employee experience from recruiting, hiring, benefits management, and training. Prior to joining Boxley in 2017, Lori worked in human resources in the coal mining industry for 18 years, then became a regional human resources manager for Hubbell Lighting.

Vice President – Concrete Operations/Equipment

Beneath Larry’s mild-mannered demeanor is a true leader who motivates and inspires his teams to success by example. Larry is responsible for all concrete operations and equipment. He started work with Lone Star Industries and worked in sales, operations and safety. He began his career at Boxley in 1988 as a sales representative in aggregates.

Vice President - Asphalt

With his good nature and business prowess, Jeb is leading and shaping Boxley’s newest business line—asphalt. Jeb served as plant operations manager for Amlite Corp from 1980-1984. He joined Marvin V. Templeton & Sons, Inc. as Vice President of Operations, then President. In January 2011, Boxley acquired the company and changed the name. Jeb is now Vice President of the Boxley asphalt division.

Vice President - Sales/Corporate Development

His passion for delivering exemplary customer service and quality products have helped propel Boxley to the top. Ed leads the cross-discipline sales team and is responsible for sales across all business lines. Prior to joining Boxley in 1989, Ed's work experience included construction, estimating, sales and marketing. He worked in aggregates sales for Boxley until 1994, when he left to run his own roofing business. In 2003, he returned to Boxley as president of the block business. He became vice president-sales/corporate development in 2011.

Brent’s fresh approach to sales and marketing combined with extensive sales and leadership skills is making Boxley Block, Brick and Hardscapes the go-to resources for contractors, architects and consumers. He began working for Boxley in 1998, progressing from inside to outside sales and then operations manager. He became vice president in 2011. Prior to Boxley, Brent worked at 84 Lumber and Moore’s Lumber and Building Supply.

Vice President - Aggregates Operations

Aggregate is the heart of Boxley’s business and Bill keeps that heartbeat strong and healthy. His leadership, expertise and strong work ethic assure that aggregate operations across the company produce the high quality product required to keep the company at the top of its game. Bill worked in various sales and management capacities at Carter Machinery Company before starting at Boxley in 1987.
