Boxley employees from multiple locations across Virginia volunteered their United Way Day of Caring time to Bedford’s Domestic Violence Shelter. As a division of Bedford County Department of Social Services, they provide shelter, information, referrals, and court accompaniment free of charge to those affected by domestic violence. Join Boxley in Supporting Food for Kids

Childhood hunger is a significant problem in our community. While schools provide food-insecure children meals during the week, many go hungry during the weekend. That’s why Boxley is supporting Food for Kids, a non-profit organization that provides food-insecure children at Goodview, Huddleston, Moneta, and Montvale Elementary Schools in Bedford County, VA, with food for meals over the weekend. Martinsville’s Day of Caring 

In September, Boxley employees joined 134 other United Way volunteers from Martinsville and the surrounding area in United Way’s Day of Caring. Our participants repaired and built walkways around Camp Lee Ford in Ridgeway, Virginia. The walkways will provide visitors with a peaceful, gentle journey to the cabins and picnic area.
